FIBC bulk bags — also known as jumbo bags, bulk bags, or one-tonne bags — are used across agriculture, construction, food processing, aquaculture, and chemical industries to transport and store dry, flowable goods. Specification matters: the wrong construction, loop type, or closure can slow your process, compromise safety, or fail under load.

  • Ritex bulk bags are available in five construction types, each suited to different load weights, product types, and handling environments. All are manufactured from UV-stabilised woven polypropylene with double chain stitching throughout.

    • Circular / Tubular — No side seams for higher vertical strength. Easy to lift with forklifts or cranes.

    • U-Panel — Three-panel construction with a U-shaped base. Combines strength with shape retention.

    • 4-Panel — Four stitched panels for a structured square shape. Maintains form during filling for stacking stability.

    • Baffle — Internal baffles sewn into each panel to reduce bulging and maintain bag shape under load.

    • Food Grade — ISO22000 certified. Available for food, feed, and sensitive material applications.

    All bags include an A4 document pouch as standard.

  • The right loop design reduces handling time and improves site safety. Ritex bags are available with two lift loop configurations.

    Cross Corner Loops Standard configuration — four cross-corner lifting straps at 30 cm height. Designed for easy forklift access from any angle. Loops retain their shape when the bag is empty, allowing for faster, safer handling on-site.

    Full Under-Bag Running Loops Full-length loops running the length of the bag for enhanced support and weight distribution. Suited to heavy-duty applications and high-load requirements.

  • Ritex works with operations across a wide range of scales — from small runs to full container orders. Standard stocked bags are available for immediate supply. Custom configurations, constructions, and print options are available by forward order. Flat bottom FIBC illustration

Fully open mouth for quick, unrestricted filling. Used where dust containment is not required and fill speed is the priority.

Standard base design. Sits flat on a pallet or floor where no discharge system is required. Compatible with all top configurations.

A fabric skirt that ties off after filling to keep product secure and dust-free during transport and storage. Used where a seal is needed but a fixed spout is not required.

A base spout for controlled emptying of contents. Available with or without petal closure for precise, slow-release discharge of fine or granular materials

A cylindrical fill spout for controlled filling and dust containment. Suited to automated filling systems and fine or powdered materials where open-top filling is not practical.

Full open bottom FIBC Illustration

Full Open Bottom: Unfastens completely for fast, total discharge. Suited to sticky or hard-to-flow materials that will not exit reliably through a discharge spout.
